Axcis is working alongside a local school who are seeking to appoint dedicated, Teaching Assistants to join their supportive and dynamic team. You will be based at one of our two main academic sites in Tameside, working with students in Key Stages 2 to 4 who have been excluded from mainstream education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in building positive relationships, supporting classroom learning, and fostering a nurturing and structured environment. Key Responsibilities: - Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis both in and out of class. - Assisting the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and adapting activities to individual needs. - Promoting emotional well-being, resilience, and positive attitudes to learning. - Contributing to the wider life of the school and working collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies.
