Job Title: Teaching Assistant in Merton
Teaching Assistant – SEND School (Merton)
A welcoming and inclusive SEND secondary school in Merton is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of a full-time position or a four-day workweek, supporting students across both primary and secondary age groups with Complex Needs, Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).
Position Details:
Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Days: Full-time or 4 days per week
Age Groups: Primary and secondary
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students with complex needs, helping them thrive academically and socially.
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to deliver engaging and accessible learning experiences.
Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that meets each student’s individual needs.
