Primary SEND Teacher – KS1 Primary Mainstream School (SEND Provision) ASC | Speech & Language | MLD Full-Time January Start – Ongoing Location: Camden We are working on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary mainstream school to recruit a Primary SEND Teacher for their KS1 SEND provision. This full-time role supports pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), speech and language needs, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). This is an excellent opportunity for a primary teacher with a passion for inclusive education, SEND, and speech and language development to make a real impact within a supportive school environment. The Role – Primary SEND Teacher Plan and deliver high-quality, adapted primary lessons for pupils with ASC, speech and language needs, and MLD Differentiate the primary curriculum to meet individual learning and communication needs Use targeted speech and language strategies to support communication, interaction, and understanding Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCo, and external professionals including speech and language therapists Lead the classroom team, ensuring consistent and effective SEND support Create a calm, structured, and inclusive KS1 learning environment This role has a strong focus on communication, independence, and confidence, supported by effective speech and language practice within a mainstream primary setting. About the School The school is a fully inclusive primary mainstream school with a well-established SEND provision. They support pupils with a range of needs including ASC, speech and language difficulties, and MLD, ensuring every child can access learning and make progress. The successful teacher will work as part of a collaborative and experienced team, alongside skilled teaching assistants and external specialists. The school has a strong ethos of inclusion, personalised learning, and high expectations for all pupils.
