This full-time role supports pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), speech and language needs, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). The Role – Primary SEND Teacher Plan and deliver high-quality, adapted primary lessons for pupils with ASC, speech and language needs, and MLD Differentiate the primary curriculum to meet individual learning and communication needs Use targeted speech and language strategies to support communication, interaction, and understanding Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCo, and external professionals including speech and language therapists Lead the classroom team, ensuring consistent and effective SEND support Create a calm, structured, and inclusive KS1 learning environment This role has a strong focus on communication, independence, and confidence, supported by effective speech and language practice within a mainstream primary setting.
