We’re working with specialist SEND settings across Reading who need experienced SEND Teaching Assistants for part-time daily supply work. This is ideal for someone who thrives in specialist environments and wants the flexibility to choose when they work.
You’ll be supporting children with complex needs, so confidence, experience, and a calm approach are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
Providing 1:1 and small group support
Assisting pupils with complex learning, physical, and communication needs
Supporting emotional regulation and sensory activities
Delivering personal care with dignity and professionalism (required)
Adapting quickly to different classrooms and school environments
What We’re Looking For
Essential: Previous SEND experience
Experience supporting children with complex needs
Comfortable providing personal care
Reliable, adaptable, and proactive
Strong communication skills
