Job Title: Speech and Language Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is seeking a personable and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with speech and language needs. This opportunity would also suit a recent Speech and Language graduate or someone who has gained relevant experience through another profession.

This is a full-time Teaching Assistant position starting in September, working Monday to Friday. The role involves supporting children with a range of complex needs. Successful candidates will receive a pay rate of £14.25 per hour.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support children aged 4 to 11 years.
• Work closely with pupils who have speech and language needs.
• Deliver speech and language interventions.
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with students.
• Provide a calm and supportive presence within the classroom.
• Assist children with varying complex needs to access learning and achieve their individual goals.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
• Previous experience supporting children with speech and language needs.
• A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
• The ability to foster positive and meaningful relationships with pupils.
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm.
