Axcis Education is recruiting dedicated ASD Support Staff to work across a number of primary and secondary settings in North West London, supporting students with additional needs within a therapeutic education environment. Trial days are available immediately for suitable candidates, with successful applicants securing a long-term position from September 2026. About the Role You will be supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them access learning and develop both academically and emotionally. This is a hands-on role where you will: -Build strong, trusting relationships with students. -Manage challenging behaviour calmly and effectively. -Support students with emotional regulation and engagement. -Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their individual goals. -Work collaboratively as part of a therapeutic and multidisciplinary team. The Setting These schools adopt a therapeutic approach to education, placing the child at the centre of everything they do. -Specialist educational settings supporting pupils with additional needs. -Small class sizes and personalised learning programmes. -Strong focus on emotional wellbeing, behaviour support, and inclusion. -Support for pupils with EHCPs and a range of complex needs. -Collaborative and nurturing working environments. Many students have experienced disrupted education or high levels of anxiety, and your role will be instrumental in helping them achieve positive outcomes.
