Are you a compassionate and adaptable SEND Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in a rewarding specialist environment?
We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic SEND TAs to provide daily supply cover at a welcoming all-through special school in Woodley. This role involves supporting students across a wide range of special educational needs, stepping in to cover staff absences and ensuring pupils continue to receive consistent, supportive care and learning.
The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with diverse and complex needs across different age groups
Work closely with class teachers and specialist staff
Assist with classroom activities and structured learning
Provide personal care when required
Help create a safe, positive and supportive learning environment
Adapt quickly to different classes and situations
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with SEND students (school, care or similar settings)
Is comfortable providing personal care
Is reliable, adaptable and able to respond quickly to new environments
Brings a positive and patient approach to supporting children
Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
