Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide high quality support to pupils in a Resource Base in a primary school in Swindon in January. The successful candidate for this job must have qualifications and/or experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as well as experience of Makaton and personal care. The post is a part time role on a term time only basis from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Pay rate: £89.00 Responsibilities of the role include providing effective learning, physical, personal care and social support for pupils in the resource base, supporting staff in the classroom setting and promoting positive behaviour. The successful applicant will be expected to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to empathize and motivate.
