Axcis are proud to be working with a special school in Tower Hamlets who are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex learning needs. The school offers a calm, structured environment with excellent therapy input and strong support systems for staff.
The school is well connected via public transport, making it accessible from across East London.
In this role, you will be:
• Supporting pupils with autism, sensory needs and complex learning difficulties.
• Assisting with personalised learning activities and daily routines.
• Using sensory strategies, visuals and communication tools to support engagement.
• Working closely with teachers, therapists and support staff.
• Supporting pupil wellbeing and development throughout the school day.

• Experience in a special school or with complex SEND.
• Compassionate, patient and reliable approach.
• Confidence supporting a range of needs.
