Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Liverpool
We are seeking compassionate, reliable and motivated individuals to join a secondary special school based in Speke, supporting young people with a wide range of SEND needs. The school caters for pupils with Autism, SEMH needs and challenging behaviour, and has been recognised by Ofsted as Outstanding for its commitment to providing a safe, nurturing and high-quality learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to education and who can bring patience, resilience and a positive approach to every day.
We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds, including youth work, social care, support work and other sectors where transferable skills are essential. Experience working with children or young people is valued, but above all we are looking for individuals with empathy, strong communication, and a genuine desire to make a difference. Weekly pay is provided, and candidates must hold a DBS on the Update Service, though we can support you with obtaining one if needed.
If you are calm, committed and ready to support pupils who need consistency and understanding, we would love to hear from you. This role offers the chance to develop new skills, gain SEND experience and become part of a supportive team dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential.
