As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students both academically and personally, ensuring they feel valued and empowered. Hours: Monday to Friday Location: Lambeth Key Responsibilities: In this rewarding role, you will be expected to: Provide one-on-one or small group support to SEND students, assisting with their academic and social development. Help manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour with patience and understanding. Assist students with personal care needs, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety at all times. Work closely with teachers and other staff to implement personalised learning plans and provide tailored support. Encourage students to develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills. Create a positive, nurturing environment where students feel motivated and supported. Role Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. Right to work in the UK. Previous experience as a care assistant or in a similar role, ideally supporting SEND students. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with children.
