Salary: £90-95 per day
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teacher to join our team at a vibrant and inclusive school located in Wandsworth, London. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of children with varied educational needs and disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all students.
• Apply innovative teaching methods and educational tools to inspire and motivate students.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to support student learning and emotional well-being.
• Regularly assess students' progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and professionals regarding student development and well-being.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching students with SEND in a school setting
• A strong understanding of SEND best practices and strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
