Job Title: SEND Teacher
SEND Teacher (EYFS/KS1) – Long-Term to July
Location: Home-based planning & in-school teaching Barnet N3
Start: Immediate • Hours: Full-time (+ ½ day paid PPA)
Salary: Main Scale + SEND allowance
We’re looking for an experienced EYFS/KS1 SEND Teacher to teach a small, nurturing class of 6 pupils, supported by 2 TAs, on a long-term basis until July.
The Role
Teach and plan for a small EYFS/KS1 SEND class
Work closely with 2 dedicated TAs
Support pupils with complex needs, including personal care
Use or develop skills in assessment, communication and behaviour support
You
Proven EYFS/KS1 SEND teaching experience
Confident with complex needs and personal care
Passionate, adaptable and child-centred
Experience with tools such as B Squared, Widgit, Colourful Semantics, Attention Autism etc. – desirable, not essential
