In this role, you will be: • Teaching a small class of primary-aged pupils with a range of autism profiles and communication needs. • Planning creative, highly differentiated lessons that incorporate visuals, sensory activities and structured routines. • Working closely with a skilled team of TAs, therapists and the SENCO to deliver personalised EHCP targets. • Using a blend of communication tools such as PECS, Makaton, attention-based strategies and sensory regulation techniques. • Creating an environment that celebrates progress, independence and pupil wellbeing. What we’re looking for: • QTS/QTLS with experience teaching children with SEND. • Knowledge of autism, sensory processing and communication-based strategies. • Calm, creative, reflective teaching practice. • A genuine passion for specialist education and child-centred support.
