Job Title: SEND Specialist Teacher – ASD Class (Enhanced Provision)
Location: Tulse Hill
Start Date: October half-term (flexible for the right candidate)
Axcis is seeking an experienced SEND Specialist Teacher to join an Enhanced Provision within a mainstream primary school. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher with experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including non-verbal pupils with additional needs.
You will be leading a small, supportive class of 8 children, working alongside 3 experienced Teaching Assistants, within a specialist provision that focuses on providing tailored education to pupils with additional needs.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience teaching in a SEND setting
• Proven experience supporting non-verbal children with ASD
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team and with families
