Nursery Support Assistant – Full-Time (NW5)
Location: Primary School in NW5
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the NW5 area. This is a full-time role within the nursery department, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a child’s early development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one support for a child with complex needs, including assistance with personal care and managing emotional dysregulation
- Working closely with the nursery team to ensure a supportive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Implementing strategies and activities that align with the child’s individual support plan
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, external professionals, and parents/carers
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a nursery setting is essential
- Experience supporting children with additional or complex needs is highly desirable
- Comfortable and capable in providing personal care
- Strong understanding of emotional regulation strategies in early years
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required (role to start immediately)
