Job Title: SEND Teacher Location: London, Wandsworth Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm Salary: Paid to scale We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Wandsworth, London. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to ensure they achieve their full potential in a nurturing educational environment. Responsibilities: • Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of students with SEMH needs. • Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioural plans. • Work closely with the classroom teacher to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. • Monitor and report on the progress of students, contributing to assessment and documentation. • Facilitate social skills development and emotional regulation strategies. • Collaborate with the SENCO, multidisciplinary teams, and parents to support the overall wellbeing of students.
