Job Title: Secondary Teacher – SEN Focus
Axcis Education are working with a well-established SEN school in Urmston (M41) that supports pupils with a range of needs – particularly those with SEMH, ADHD and Autism. This is a fantastic agency-based opportunity for a passionate and flexible secondary teacher ready to step into a setting where behaviour support is key and differentiation is second nature.
The Role:
- Full-time agency teaching position, Monday–Friday, 8:20am–3:30pm
- Teaching across Key Stage 3 with pupils requiring tailored support
- Focused on behavioural needs, but with awareness and strategies for neurodiverse learners
- Delivering lessons that are differentiated for low-ability learners and varied age groups
- Working with experienced support staff to manage classroom dynamics effectively
You Must Have:
- UK-based teaching experience (essential – this is not a training post)
- QTS or equivalent – confident unqualified teachers with SEN experience will be considered
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – or be willing to apply for one
- Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach
- A genuine interest in working with SEND learners and helping them reach their potential
- Full availability Monday–Friday, during school hours (term-time only)
