Job Title: Secondary Science Teacher
Secondary Science Teacher – Weymouth – Full Time – ASAP Start
Axcis Education are excited to be recruiting for a passionate and motivated Secondary Science Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Weymouth. This is a full-time temporary role starting ASAP, with the potential to become long-term for the right candidate.
The school is seeking an enthusiastic teacher who can inspire students across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and interactive Science lessons that encourage curiosity, confidence, and achievement. Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, the school are looking for someone who can bring energy and creativity into the classroom.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, monitoring student progress, preparing pupils for exams, and creating a positive learning environment where all students feel supported to succeed. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff are essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school with a strong leadership team and a collaborative Science department. The role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to further develop their teaching career within secondary education.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm, and pay will be in line with the teacher pay scale depending on experience.
