Job Title: Science Teacher
Axcis Education is recruiting on behalf of a mainstream secondary school in Liverpool, who are searching for a qualified Science Teacher. This would be a full time position, working 8.30-3.30 Monday to Friday, due to begin after the Easter holidays. The role would run until the summer holidays initially, but is likely to be extended into the new academic year. There is potential for a permanent position for applicants that excel in their role
The Role:
• Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on Chemistry or Physics up to GCSE level
• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire and challenge students
• Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department
The School:
• Large secondary school serving students aged 11–16
• Located in a residential area with good transport links
• Mixed-ability intake
• Science department with dedicated lab spaces and resources
• Focus on consistent behaviour systems and structured lessons
To be considered for this role, you will require QTS with a Science specialism. Pay is negotiable dependent on level of experience and responsibilities.
