Job Title: School SENCO
Urgently Required: SENCo (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Flexible for the right candidate)
Daily Rate: £180 – £230 per day (dependent on experience)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate SENCo to join our welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Horsham. We are seeking an experienced and committed professional who can start as soon as possible to lead and further develop our SEND provision.
About the Role
As SENDCo, you will:
-Lead and manage SEND provision across the school
-Oversee and maintain EHCPs and ensure statutory compliance
-Support class teachers with inclusive strategies and interventions
-Liaise with parents, external agencies, and the Local Authority
-Monitor pupil progress and ensure appropriate provision is in place
-Contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos and whole-school improvement
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-Hold QTS
-Hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be working towards it)
-Have experience of SEND in a mainstream primary setting
-Demonstrate strong organisational and leadership skills
-Be proactive, solution-focused, and child-centred
