Job Title: Reception Teacher
Reception Teacher – Near Hayes & Harlington Station – September 2026
Are you an Early Years Teacher looking for a well-supported Reception class within a structured and welcoming primary school?
A friendly and well-organised primary school near Hayes & Harlington Station is seeking a Reception Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term position with the opportunity to become permanent if all goes well. ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply.

The Role
As a Reception Teacher, you will play a key role in helping children settle into school life, develop confidence, and build strong learning foundations.
You will:
Deliver engaging adult-led activities alongside continuous provision
Support early reading, writing, and communication development
Create a calm, organised, and stimulating classroom environment
Monitor progress and adapt learning to meet individual needs
Build strong relationships with parents and carers
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a teacher who:
Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has EYFS experience or a strong understanding of early years practice
Is confident delivering phonics and supporting language development
Can establish clear routines and manage behaviour effectively
Takes a positive, practical, and consistent approach to teaching
