Axcis are delighted to be working exclusively alongside a lovely village primary school in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire who are looking for two teaching assistants to start on a long term basis from September 2024. The first role is working Monday to Friday 08.30-15.30 supporting a year 2 class on both a 1-1 and general class basis. This role is working with students who have Autism, Speech and language difficulties and ADHD and is to continue on until the end of the winter term in the first instance but more than likely the end of the academic year for the right candidate. The second TA role is to work part time Monday to Friday mornings only 08.30-12.30 supporting in the early years class providing a mixture of 1-1 and general class support where needed and is supporting pupils with learning difficulties, many of whom are yet to be diagnosed given their age. This role is until the end of the academic year. For both positions, you must have an enhanced DBS on the update service and the school is easily accessible for people travelling on public transport and there is a large staff car park too!
