Job Title: SEND Support Staff
Are you committed to providing exceptional support to SEND students? We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team at a school in the Sutton area.
Position: SEND Support Specialist (PMLD, Medical Needs, Personal Care)
Location: Sutton
Hours: 8:40 AM - 3:45 PM
Role Responsibilities:
• Provide dedicated support to students with PMLD and medical needs, ensuring their well-being and
active participation in educational activities
• Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting, feeding, and hygiene management
• Develop and implement individualised strategies to meet each student's unique learning and medical
requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, healthcare professionals, and families to create and monitor individual
education plans and healthcare plans
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Candidate Requirements:
• Experience working with students with PMLD and medical needs
• Skills in providing personal care and understanding of relevant medical protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting the holistic development of students
