Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils within a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Birmingham. This is a full-time position starting in October, with the role expected to continue throughout the academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on the lives of children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning, personal development, and wellbeing throughout the school day.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour
Key Responsibilities
• Support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Provide targeted 1:1 support and small group interventions
• Assist children with SEND in accessing learning opportunities
• Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
• Help maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one
• Availability to commit to a full-time position
