Axcis are working with a lovely small village primary school just off the M5 near Tortworth, South Gloucestershire who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to start asap.
The role is working full-time Monday to Friday school hours – 08.15-15.30, to continue on until at least Easter, but likely the end of the academic year for the right candidate.
The role itself is supporting two children in years 4 and 5 who have a range of SEND needs, especially Autism, ADHD and display some behavioural issues. As a result, the candidate needs to be someone who is mentally and physically strong in terms of dealing with the behaviour as and when it presents itself, someone reliable and committed and someone who is approachable, reliable and adaptable.
Being situated not far from the motorway means the school is very accessible for those who drive as well as there being a staff car park. For those on public transport, there are bus links to the school also.
