We are delighted to be recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a lovely, welcoming primary school in Kingston upon Thames.
This rewarding role involves working 1:1 with a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing tailored support to help them access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the school environment.
The Role:
-Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
-Support the pupil’s learning, emotional regulation, and social development
-Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and wider support team
-Help implement individual education and support plans
-Create a calm, positive, and inclusive learning experience
The Ideal Candidate:
-Experience working with children with ASD (school-based experience desirable)
-A patient, nurturing, and supportive approach
-Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
-Reliable, proactive, and committed to making a real difference
