Primary School Teaching Assistant – Stockport

Axcis Education is currently seeking experienced and recently experienced Teaching Assistants to join our team and support a range of wonderful primary schools across the Stockport area.
We work with mainstream and SEND settings, offering rewarding opportunities for TAs who are passionate about helping young learners thrive.
About the Role:
• Support pupils in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (depending on your experience and preference)
• Provide 1:1 or small-group support
• Assist pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or social–emotional needs
• Work alongside class teachers to help deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
• Contribute to a positive, nurturing classroom environment
Requirements:
• Recent or relevant experience working with children in a school, nursery, or youth setting
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN/SEND is highly desirable
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to commit to ongoing or ad-hoc assignments in Stockport primary schools
