Job Title: Permanent Early Years Educator needed in South West London

The Role:
My client are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Early Years Educator (NVQ Level 3 or above) to join their Nursery School.
As an Early Years Educator, you’ll lead engaging activities, observe and support children’s progress, create a safe and stimulating environment, collaborate with families, and guide junior staff to ensure high standards of care and education.
? Lead and Inspire: Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
? Observe and Assess: Monitor and document children’s progress, providing tailored support to meet individual learning needs.
? Create a Safe Environment: Ensure a secure, nurturing, and stimulating setting where every child feels valued and encouraged to explore.
? Collaborate with Families: Build strong relationships with parents and carers, offering regular updates on their child’s development and addressing any concerns.
? Mentor Junior Staff: Guide and support less experienced team members, cultivating a culture of continuous professional development.
About Them:
They operate seven unique nursery branches and a day school across South West London. With a commitment to providing excellent care and education, their nurseries are well-equipped, stimulating spaces where children feel valued and supported.
What They Offer
? Competitive Salary: £29,000 to £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
? Hours: Full-Time, Permanent Position: Monday to Friday shifts (7:30 am–4:30 pm and 9:30 am–6:30 pm).

What They Are Looking For
? Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
? Experience: Proven experience in an early years setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
? Skills: Strong communication abilities, both with children and adults; excellent organisational skills; and the capacity to work effectively within a team.
? Attributes: A genuine passion for early childhood education, creativity in activity planning, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care and education.
Your Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Implementation: Plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the needs of all children, in line with the EYFS framework.
Child Development: Observe and assess each child’s progress, maintaining accurate records and planning next steps to support their development.
Environment Management: Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to care and education, sharing best practices and supporting each other’s professional growth.
Parental Engagement: Develop strong partnerships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback and involving them in their child’s learning journey.
Safeguarding: Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare and safety of all children in your care.
