We are seeking a PE Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic SEND school in Orpington. This role is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours, using sport and physical activity as a tool for learning, teamwork, and personal growth. The Role: Delivering and supervising PE lessons across primary and secondary phases. Encouraging engagement in physical activities to support students' well-being and social development. Managing behaviour effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies. Providing one-to-one and small group support to ensure all students can participate and progress. Assisting with structured lessons in core subjects (English, Maths, Science, PSHE) when required. Helping students build confidence, teamwork skills, and resilience through sport. Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Working Hours: Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Tuesday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Ideal Candidate: Experience working with SEMH students or in a SEND setting (preferred but not essential). A passion for sports, fitness, and physical education. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to motivate and engage students. A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to working with young people.
