Job Title: One-To-One Autism Experience Teaching Assistant (Year 2)
Job Vacancy: Experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Year 2 – ASD & ADHD Support) Location: North London Start Date: Week beginning 4th November Full-Time Only Axcis Education is currently seeking a highly experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a female child in Year 2 with ASD and ADHD. This role involves working with a pupil who displays challenging behaviour, so we are looking for a candidate who has previous experience supporting children with SEND in a primary school setting. The ideal candidate must be able to manage challenging behaviour confidently while maintaining a nurturing, calm, and supportive approach. You will need to be a strong, resilient character, yet caring and professional in your demeanour. Experience with children with ASD and ADHD is essential, and being Team Teach trained would be highly advantageous. Key Requirements: Significant experience working with primary-aged children with SEND, specifically ASD and ADHD A calm, patient, and nurturing approach to managing challenging behaviour Team Teach training (preferred) Strong communication and discretion when working with children and staff This position will begin with a trial week starting the week of 4th November, with potential for long-term placement.
