Key Responsibilities • Support children with learning and play-based activities in line with the EYFS curriculum. • Encourage children's social, emotional, and communication development. • Help create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment. • Support children with daily routines, transitions, and personal care where required. • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. • Assist with indoor and outdoor learning activities. • Promote children's independence, confidence, and wellbeing. • Follow safeguarding and nursery policies at all times. Requirements • Previous experience working with children in a nursery, school, childcare, or similar setting. • Understanding of EYFS principles and child development is desirable. • Patient, nurturing, and approachable personality. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare. • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
