Job Title: Mentor
Day Rate: £92.50 per day
Location: Manchester, Tameside and Bolton
Position: Mentor KS3 &KS4 Or KS1& KS2
Contract Type: 9am-3pm Monday- Thursday and 9am-2pm on a Friday.
Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for fun, energetic and enthusiastic candidates to work with students aged 11-16 in a PRU. This is a great opportunity for candidates to develop their skills and to be supported by settings that believe in securing professional development for staff.

As a Mentor assistant with Axcis you will:
• Be a role model, mentor and daily support to the child/ren you will be working with.
• Support students with SEND to overcome social and academic barriers.
• Support the class teacher in delivery of the curriculum
• Make reasonable adjustments to ensure students thrive in the setting.
• Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students.
• Be passionate about supporting students with SEMH needs
• Provide support advice and guidance
• Promote independence in line with the settings policy.
