Job Title: Maths Cover Supervisor – Kidbrooke, South East London
Contract: Term time only – 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (8:15am – 3:30pm) I’m working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Kidbrooke, South East London, who are seeking a Maths Cover Supervisor to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to help them succeed. The role involves supervising lessons when teachers are absent, ensuring students stay on task and engaged with their learning. Key responsibilities: • Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of teachers • Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment • Support students with their learning and behaviour • Provide general admin support to the Maths department • Assist with displays and exam invigilation where required Ideal candidate: • Confident, adaptable and enthusiastic about education • Able to build positive relationships with students and staff • Experience in a school or youth setting is desirable • Graduates considering teaching are encouraged to apply The school promotes a strong sense of community and believes education should help young people understand the world and change it for the better.
