Job Title: LSA - Uxbridge
Learning Support Assistant – PMLD
UB3 | 4–5 Days per Week | September Start
A well-established college is excited to be opening a brand-new site in the UB3 area and is looking to recruit a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant to join the team from September.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) in a purpose-built learning environment. You will play a key role in helping learners engage with education, build independence, and achieve their personal goals while receiving support from an experienced and dedicated staff team.
Working Hours:
08:45 – 16:30 (hours may vary according to the timetable)
4–5 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for learners with PMLD
Assist with personal care and mobility needs where required
Encourage participation, communication, and independence
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and other professionals
Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

Experience supporting individuals with PMLD, SEND, or complex learning needs
A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine commitment to supporting young people with additional needs
