Job Title: Long-term SEND Teaching Assistant, Smethwick
We are working with a mainstream primary school in Smethwick, who are seeking two full-time, SEND Teaching Assistants to join their school to support in their SEND provision bases (hubs). These roles are working in a small hub of 6 children between Reception to Year 2 child, with varying SEND needs but will have global development delay and are autistic. Previous work as a SEN TA in a 1-to-1, small group, hub role would be advantageous. However, we would equally love to hear from applicants with experience from residential, support work or care backgrounds. The school operates as having staff all feel included and the school celebrates everyone’s successes and are seeking two additions who are equally passionate about SEND support, celebrating and supporting every individual child’s individual needs. These roles are initially working through us at Axcis Education, the UK’s leading SEND specialist supply agency, however the school are open to taking staff on permanently in future, dependent on funding. You will be paid weekly arrears in line with your experience & qualifications, starting from £89 per day (PAYE).
