We are looking for a caring, confident and experienced Nursery Level 3 Teaching Assistant to lead our baby room in a welcoming primary school in N12. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years and wants to play a key role in giving our youngest children the best possible start.

Main Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day running of the baby room, ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
Build warm, responsive relationships with babies, supporting their care, routines and early development.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate play and learning activities in line with the EYFS.
Observe, track and record children’s progress and share this with parents/carers and the wider team.
Work closely with the Early Years Lead and other staff to maintain high standards of care and education.
Support with key person responsibilities, including communication with families and settling-in.
Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and hygiene policies are followed at all times.
About You
Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare / Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent).
At least 2 years’ experience working with babies in a nursery, baby room or similar early years setting.
Confident in leading a room and supporting other staff where needed.
Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS for babies and toddlers.
Warm, patient and responsive, with a genuine love for working with very young children.
