**Job Title:** Level 2 Teaching Assistant **Location:** Littleborough, Lancashire **Salary:** £83 - £90 per day (PAYE) **Contract Type:** Full-Time **Hours:** 8.30 am - 3.30 pm **Job Description:** We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in Littleborough, Lancashire. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to our teaching staff and assist in creating a positive, educational environment that enables our students to reach their full potential. This role necessitates someone with a genuine passion for education and the capacity to inspire and support children with varying educational needs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in the delivery of lesson plans, working closely with the lead teacher to implement instructional activities. - Provide particular support for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), ensuring their learning journey is accessible and productive. - Facilitate small group activities, encourage student participation and engagement with their learning tasks. - Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students within the classroom setting. - Assist in the preparation of educational materials needed for effective teaching and learning. - Help maintain a clean, orderly, and safe learning environment for all children. - Provide feedback to teachers on pupil's progress and potential concerns. - Encourage children to act independently as appropriate. - Promote inclusion, encouraging pupils to interact with one another and engage in activities. - Participate in training and development sessions to improve professional skills and teaching practices. **Requirements:** - Must hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. - A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service is required. - Minimum of 6 months UK-based classroom experience, whether paid or voluntary. - Previous experience in working with SEND pupils is essential. - Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators. - Patient, resilient, and posses a positive attitude towards working with children. - Strong organizational skill and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. **Application:** If you have a passion for education and meet the above qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
