Learning Support Assistant – Primary School (Axcis Education)

Salary: From £13.50 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced learning support assistant to join a friendly and welcoming primary school with a strong reputation for supporting both staff and pupils. About the Role:
You will support pupils with special educational needs, including children with autism and physical challenges. The role involves working closely with class teachers and SEND staff to provide tailored, compassionate support that enhances each child’s learning experience.
The ideal candidate will be:
• An experienced SEND teaching assistant
• Confident supporting physically challenging autistic children within a special needs environment
• Punctual, reliable, and hardworking
• Someone with previous experience working with children in educational or care settings
• In possession of an up-to-date Child and Adult DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one through Axcis.
