Learning Support Assistant – Global Developmental Delay | Camden, NW5 | September Start Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Global Developmental Delay Location: Camden, NW5 Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience A caring and inclusive primary school in Camden (NW5) is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a pupil with Global Developmental Delay (GDD) from September. The successful candidate will provide personalised support to help the pupil access learning, develop communication skills, and build confidence within the classroom environment. Key Responsibilities Support the pupil throughout the school day on a 1:1 basis and within small groups. Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs. Deliver targeted interventions under teacher guidance. Encourage independence, communication, and social development. Work alongside the class teacher, SENCO, therapists, and parents. Monitor and record progress towards EHCP outcomes. The Successful Candidate Will Have Experience supporting children with additional learning needs, ideally Global Developmental Delay. A nurturing, patient, and flexible approach. Understanding of child development and differentiated learning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
