Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Specialist KS1 Provision (Autism & SLCN) Start Date: September Setting: Inclusive Mainstream Primary School About the Role We are looking for a motivated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our welcoming mainstream primary school this September. This is a unique opportunity to lead a specialist KS1 provision, supporting pupils—primarily in Year 2—with Autism (ASC) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). As the lead adult in a dedicated “hub” classroom, you will deliver a highly personalised, semi-formal curriculum that nurtures communication, independence, and engagement. Working closely with the Assistant Headteacher and SENCo, you will play a key role in shaping an inspiring and inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed.
