Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant Location: Walthamstow - E17 Pay: Starting at £92.63 a day (PAYE) Start Date: September 2026 About the Role: As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers to support teaching and learning across a range of subjects and year groups. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates who are considering a career in education to gain valuable classroom experience and develop their skills in a supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to work with students on an individual and small group basis, providing additional support, guidance, and encouragement to help them succeed academically and personally. Key Responsibilities: • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. • Providing one-on-one and small group support to students who require additional assistance with their learning. • Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported. • Supporting students with their academic progress, including providing feedback on their work and helping them to develop their study skills. Qualifications and Experience: • A bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area is essential e.g. Psychology, Drama, Sports related or any children/people related degree. • Previous experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting (can be via a university placement) • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting the learning and development of young people.
