Location: Bracknell Start Date: January 2025 Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM Pay: Competitive rates Are you a passionate and dedicated geography teacher seeking an exciting new opportunity? A vibrant secondary school in Bracknell is looking for an enthusiastic educator to join their team on a full-time basis, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. In this role, you will plan and deliver dynamic geography lessons designed to engage and inspire students across KS3 and KS4. You will foster a curiosity about the world and a deep understanding of geographical concepts, while assessing and tracking student progress to ensure each student achieves their potential. You will maintain high standards of classroom management, promote a positive learning environment, and collaborate closely with colleagues and department leaders to deliver the highest quality education. Beyond the classroom, you will contribute to the wider school community by attending meetings, supporting extra-curricular activities and engaging with parents and staff. The ideal candidate will: • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • Have experience teaching geography in a UK secondary school setting. • Be highly organised, punctual and proactive in supporting students and colleagues. • Exhibit a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
