Job Title: Flexible Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is currently searching for a Teaching assistant that is able to work flexibly across schools in Hereford. The role includes being on standby to go into work on selected days 8:30-4pm during term time only, with an immediate start date.
You are able to choose which days you would like to work which is great for someone seeking a role around other life commitments such as alternative work, childcare or education. You would receive notice the day before or morning of work so is best suited to a driver or someone very confident on public transport around Hereford.
Once in school you could be supporting a child 121, or general help with students around the school, likely covering another staff member that is off on holiday, with sickness or for training.
You do not need direct experience working in a classroom setting, however we would need to know you are able to work with children and young people, so experience in a support role, coaching, care setting etc., is essential.

We pay £14.25 per hour.
