Job Title: FE ASD Teaching Assistant
Are you passionate about working with young people and making a positive impact on their educational journey? A school in Roehampton is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a 6th Form student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
This is a temporary, full-time position working closely with a post 16 student who requires tailored assistance.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting the student on a 1:1 basis during lessons and activities.
• Assisting with personal care as part of their daily routine.
• Encouraging the student’s development and helping them engage in their education.
Who We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with children or young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other special educational needs is highly desirable.
• A patient, caring, and proactive individual with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
• A valid child and adult DBS certificate registered on the update service is essential.
• Strong English communication skills
• Please note: This is a full-time role and not suitable for part-time applicants.
