Are you a passionate and fully qualified SEN teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join our team in Sutton, working with our Post 16 students.
Position Details:
• Role: SEND Teacher (Post 16)
• Location: Sutton
• Duration: Ongoing
• Start Date: Immediate availability preferred
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to meet the needs of Post 16 students in a complex SEN
school.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support students with diverse learning requirements, promoting their
academic and personal development.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to create a positive and
nurturing learning environment.
Requirements:
• Fully qualified teacher status (QTS or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching in a complex SEN school, preferably with Post 16 students.
• Strong understanding of strategies for supporting students with additional needs, including ASD, SEMH,
ADHD, and other complex learning difficulties.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Trial Day:
Candidates will be required to participate in a full trial day, teaching the class they will be covering. This will allow us to assess your teaching approach and compatibility with our students.
