Axcis Education are working with an independent specialist college, situated approximately 10 minutes from Totnes, who are seeking a Core Worker to work 3 or 4 days a week. A Core Worker is what the school call their learning support assistants. The school caters for pupils post 16, All of the students have an EHPC and have either ASD, ADHD or SEMH. For this role, you would be required to work on a 1-1 basis with a student, delivering interventions focused on clear targets which have been planned from their EHCP. - Working hours are 8.30am - 4.00pm, term time only - Own transport preferred due to location of the school - 3 or 4 days a week. - Rate of pay between £100-£120 a day, depending on your experience. The school are looking for someone who is dynamic, hard working, can use their initiative, caring, kind and most importantly, has experience of supporting individuals with SEND.
