Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our supportive team at a specialist early years centre, in Brent, catering for children with additional needs.
About the Role:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting young children with special educational needs, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You’ll be part of a nurturing environment where every child is valued, and their development is supported with care, patience, and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and learning opportunities tailored to individual needs.
Support children with ASD using appropriate strategies and interventions.
Work collaboratively with other team members, families, and external professionals.
Provide personal care as required, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
Contribute to planning, observations, and assessments in line with the EYFS framework.
Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent (essential).
Proven experience working with children with ASD (essential).
Comfortable and capable of providing personal care (essential).
A patient, flexible, and caring approach.
