We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable cover supervisor who understands the primary school environment and curriculum. You will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences by delivering pre-planned lessons, leading interventions, and ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. This role would suit candidates with: • A degree in a relevant subject area, or • Proven experience working within a primary school setting A strong understanding of primary curriculum expectations and school policies is essential. Your Responsibilities Will Include: • Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 • Leading or supporting small group interventions in core subjects (English and Maths) • Providing 1:1 support where required • Ensuring a safe, calm, and engaging learning environment • Removing barriers to learning for all pupils • Applying reasonable adjustments to support SEND learners • Using de-escalation strategies and consistently applying the school’s behaviour and reward policies • Encouraging positive peer interactions and promoting social communication skills • Supporting emotional regulation and resilience through structured routines and consistency About Our Rochdale Primary Schools Our partner primary schools are mainstream settings that create supportive, nurturing, and inclusive environments.
