Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Cover Supervisor – Mainstream Secondary with SEN Provision – Tower Hamlets

Axcis are working with a high-achieving mainstream secondary school in Tower Hamlets, which also includes a resourced SEN provision, who are looking to appoint an experienced Cover Supervisor to start immediately. The school is known for its strong sense of community, excellent pastoral care and inclusive ethos. Ofsted praised the school’s commitment to ensuring all students – including those with additional needs – achieve their full potential. The school is a 10-minute walk from Limehouse Station and offers free on-site parking.
In this role, you will be:
• Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 when teachers are absent, ensuring lessons run smoothly.
• Maintaining a positive learning environment and implementing effective behaviour strategies.
• Supporting within the school’s SEN provision when required, promoting inclusion for all learners.
• Building strong relationships with students across a range of subjects.
• Collaborating with teaching staff and pastoral leads to maintain high standards of learning and conduct.
What we’re looking for:
• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, TA, or mentor in a secondary school.
• Confident classroom management and ability to engage learners of varying abilities.
• Flexible and professional attitude with strong communication skills.
• A team player with a calm, consistent and approachable manner.
